Something (VERY) Good!

There's a reason for my lack of posting.  The truth is, I've had this secret... and it's been hard to think of much else to write about besides this secret.  Which I obviously couldn't write about on a public blog because, well, it was a secret!

But, the cat is officially out of the bag:

I swear, announcing you're expecting is like coming out of the closet all over again!  Who do you tell?  When do you tell them?  When should you just make it public knowledge?  I have to say that having it out in the open feels extremely liberating!

Baby W will be joining our family sometime in early October.  Kate and I could not be happier or more excited!  We've been waiting for this to happen for (what seems like) quite awhile, and it's truly amazing that something we've been dreaming about is now a reality.

It's likely I'll be doing more writing over at my other blog (which I just made public today), so feel free to keep up with the baby goings-on over there if you feel so inclined.
